Oi vs. Oy

English people say:
"Oi, get over here!"
"Oi, what do you think you're doing?"
"Oi, step off the monument!"
"Oi, what's that supposed to mean?"

I say:
"Oy, my head hurts."
"Oy, that's heavy!"
"Oy, I have so much work to do."
"Oy, it's been a long day."
